osX: Tips

• Bypass the 30 sec delay with option-startup
  Pressing the mouse button while you press the OPTION key at startup brings the partition boot dialog instantaneously, with no delays!
  
  
• Changing finder application (replace finder, at login)
  cd ~/Library/Preferences
  vi com.apple.loginwindow.plist
  
  Then insert the following between the "" and "" tags:
  Finder
  /Applications/SNAX.app
  
  
• Enable root user
  >>> su
  Password: xxx
  or use "Netinfo Manger"
