osX: Bootable OSX cd

If you have always wanted to do this, there are two approaches:
  1. Bombich has written a detailed step-by-step using terminal here
  2. Charles Ststka has written Bootcd.app to do the same. ATPM has an article using this process. It is quite self explanatory and it works. Bootcs.app allows you to add applications to your CD, which appear at the dock upon start up. In my test run, I have put in a bunch of applications, half of it don't work due to the CD's locked state. Applications that work: Diskwarrior 3, Drive 10, Retrospect, Netstore, Carbon Copy Cloner, BootCD...Applications that don't work: Internet Explorer, Stuffit (probably will work if installed onto the disk image, BBedit...I burnt the .dmg in toast. Startup takes about 10 minutes.
