Web Mail scripts

I can't use any PHP webmail due to my server's safemode implementation, all of these cgi's are perl scripts:

Implemented:Mailman, it is a simple POP mail checker, no local database, no folder or addressbook. It can only check one POP server at a time. I have toned down the interface somewhat! good standby when all else failed. Here is a thank you to the developer for granting me a license after seeing how much work I have done to the interface. Mailman is no longer a freeware for non-profit sites.

mWm - Multidomain Web Mailer is a surprisingly capable multi POP checker. Can set up users, and each can keep a list of POP servers to check via a click. Email is sent through sendmail...

I have also successfully installed Squirrelmail but it is best suited to a single IMAP server. Its log in procedure is like that of Mailman. It has a lot of plug-ins, support folders and addressbook.

Noteworthy:
Perhaps the best of its kind is Gossamer mail! A commercial product that can be set up to check multiple POP/IMAP servers and have folders/addressbook support. I am constantly impressed by Gossamer's products. I have only tested this on their demo site.

Yet to try: Emumail,...

Scripts I have tried and rated...
amail 5/10
quite capable, program accounts, css dependent, one POP only, has folders

instantwn 3/10
works! barebone, interval checking, 1 pop account only

adjemail 1/10
serious nagware, can have folder, but 1 pop only

thinmail 3/10
barebone, a little like mailman, no local account, no database

ubimail 4/10
PHP, has potential, but doesn't work with our system due to safe mode

My new web host has Neomail and Horde (overkill!) installed. I enjoy not having to do the work for a change, as well as having a webmail pre-configured to my mailbox at the server. I still keep and use Mailman and mWm on a regular basis.
